King of Dragon Pass
Anyone remember this game or played the re-release? I have on steam. Its rather fun. I wish we had humanoid ducks for me to wage war on and eat

Will I find the light. Or be swallowed by Darkness. I sense hope. But foresee harm. Will I know the blade. Taste the blood. I see a figure. I see a shadow...I see myself

Ahhhhhh the Marsh Ducks.... Exploiting your people still brings back fond memories.
Wirg to Pug: "Iz lat dun?"
Pugratix to a snarky militia man: "Mmmm. Not yet. I will live for hundreds of years and be heralded as one of the greatest forces of destruction on the face of the world. The only thing you can destroy is the outhouse."

I remember spending 2-3 hours of re-starting new games to get exactly the council I wanted, like, I wanted the right portraits and 4/3 3/4 male/female distribution, lol.
And of young age too, so they wouldnt die after three years

Passi, you gotta play this game with no saves and no resets! That's what makes it fun!
Whereas in most games you will realize you did something stupid or made the wrong dialogue choice right away, this one waits seven or eight years before punishing you for that one time you decided to show very un-Viking-like mercy to your enemies.
It's one of those rare games that punishes you for not playing to the lore, or for being too "modern" with your morality or your sentiments.
Although the best event is when the adventurers show up to your tula and all of your council finally agrees on something: Kill them!

Of course you kill the adventurers. They dare be friends with a duck! Vile Beastmen! We must cook them and eat them! Especially their eggs, they make one big omelet.
Someone managed a decent nwn1 model for them. Shame we can't get one for NWN2, that be cool. Be fun to hunt duck people in Baldur's Gate swamp areas.
