Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hey guys

I have a laptop that is overheating when I play NWN2. It has an A10-5750M processor with an AMD HD 8650G as part of the APU. I have had to run a fan under the laptop to keep it under 90 degrees C.

So, I just ordered a PC for playing NWN2 and other old games. It has some slight room for upgrading, but it will never be a modern gaming PC. My question is whether it will run NWN2 without a hitch at 1680 x 1050 on integrated graphics?

Here are the specs: HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF

CPU I3 3220
RAM 4GB DDR3
HHD 250GB
OS Win7 Pro

What do you think? Do I need a SFF low profile GPU or can I make do without for the time being?

Run the specs on the system requirement labs website. It will tell you how the machine will handle the game.

If it's already ordered there isn't much to do but wait and see.

I used to play the game on a dual core pc.

New generation lappys should do fine imho.
