I Asterin Gilgandra of the Diamond blades am looking for a skilled swords man or woman to take me to the next level with the Rapier.
I am not interested in training under someone who i feel is not as good as me, so i offer this.

I will pay 500 gold for first the privilage of finding some one who can best me and again that amount for some training.

Seeing that i am after skill alone the rules are simple, no magic or magic items, no armour. This includes all spells potions, rings, amulets, healms, boots, shields belts, etc. Just plain clothes and a plain Rapier of which i carry two.

Orcs or half orcs need not respond.

A strange man can be seen reading this request for a mentor. The man is tall and extremly lithe, his blue hair constantly seems to waver in the absent wind and at his side rest two impeccably crafted rapiers.

He thinks a moment then leaves a note written in elegant hand writeing.

You should not seek someone to beat you, that would only improve their knowledge of swordplay, it is you who should seek to best them in combat. My name is hard to pronounce but you may call me Genasi, I am a wandering traveler from the grand city of High Gust on the elemental plane of air and I am a disiple of Akadis Ten Swords of Wind, one of the most difficult swordplay styles to master. If you wish to set up a sparring meet I would be most honored to do so, it would be a great honor to test my skills against an aspiring individual such as yourself.

Asterin my friend, if it is a Master of the Sword you seek, then you have a friend close by. I would not accept your gold, however I can offer you the finest in swordplay. As a Master Swordsman myself I can assure you I can also offer plenty of knowledge.

* Reads the note from Genasi, and smiles* " Ah at last, someone whom would at least appear to have some background in sword play, but i Wonder. why would he feel i could learn more from some one who can bet me. I can only guess that this is were our styles must differ. I really do hope he is as good as he comes across. I guess we will see, at the very least he sound very interesting."

Her eyes then read the message from Maximus, and she quickly pens a reply.
" Dear Max, i should of asked you yes. But in truth I thought that your style would complicate me. we have hunted before and i have seen that you use both a heavier sword, shield and heavy armour. But i will gladly take you up on your offer." * smiles then continues to write* I am now looking forward to catching up to you and seeing your skill using these rukes of engagement that i put in place.
