Haks n' Hoods

This is a minor thing that I've had since first downloading all of the BGTSCC haks, but since the server is full (which is awesome!), I figured I'd post it here:

When PCs wear the standard hoods, they appear bald to me.

There, I said it. I see bald people.

My best guess is that I have a corrupted hak file, though I'm open to being educated on the matter. Does anyone know which hak contains those hoods? When I find out, I'll try to pull it from the appropriate link at http://bgtscc.net/viewtopic.php?p=664503#p664503.

Thanks!

You have a problem with Arsan's Hak. I used to have this problem for YEARS, until quite recently, the latest engine for Wineskin was updated in some unknown way, in which it fixed the problem (for me).

That's interesting -- you are running on a Mac too? Odd that the Wineskin update should do it. . .

When I first used Wine instead of the poor Mac port of NWN2, Arsan's Hood hak worked just fine.

But a year later, as Engines developed, something changed, and heads went bald.

For years afterwards, I tried contacting various smart people in the Wine community to figure out what changed, but with no luck—especially no luck getting it fixed.

Long after I gave up and just dealt with the bald heads, I made an Engine update, and voila! Fixed.

Are you using Wineskin?

I'm using CrossOver at present. I consider it a minor victory that I have managed to get the Client Extension working as well as NWN2.

Bottom line though, the hak isn't corrupted. . . I'm just hoping that an update to CrossOver somehow magically fixes things?
