Could I get some tips from some of you druid experts?

Here is what I've got so far

- cast owls wisdom on yourself prior to wildshape if your a race that has a wisdom bonus to avoid spell slot removal

- languages > animal > select animal let's you rp your animal companion

- in order to retain enhancement buffs (bulls strength, cat's grace, etc.) you must cast these prior to wildshaping

- if you attempt to manual save, it will bug out your wildshape

- if you return to original form and are low on hp, (for instance you want to use a healing kit) you will kill yourself

What exactly do you need? Building tips?

I've got this one: http://nwn2db.com/build/?246091

Storm Bolt and Zen Archery are for rp reasons. You could take spell focus conjuration for instance.

Combat expertise and ICE aren't needed either. You are free to put other features in there. Even Epic Animal Companion and Dragon Companion aren't really needed.

I have been trying to learn this for years. Everytime I'd ask people would either go silent or openly tell me they don't want me to know. So thank you for posting it.

Just anything in general. Not necessarily builds.

For instance any preferred wild shapes at each level?

How about spells that are your go to and why?

Here are some tips I've looked at browing through the character building section (recently rolled a Druid myself)
Karond wrote:Druid 30 is all about the dragon form. It's inflexible, but difficult to hurt with regeneration, 600+ HP and AC approaching 56-60 usually. It does well in PvM for that reason as a tank with some choice spells, but struggles versus bosses or players knowing what they're doing.

One could focus more on the druid spellcasting though. Druid 12, Hierophant 8, Hospitaler 10 is a strong caster that never transforms into an animal. You get these feats:

Spellcasting prodigy, spell focus, greater spell focus, extend spell, practiced spellcaster, improved expertise, expertise, oaken resilience, epic spell focus, 3 epic wisdom, 3 epic spells (greater ruin, vampiric feast and maybe lightning). 2-3 spellpowers from hierophant, and maybe some toll of nature or whatever you like.

The end result is a 56 AC Arch-druid that casts storm of vengeance at a DC of 44 and uses its wildshape uses for oaken resilience. This is just a point or two of DC above most dragon druids, but dragon druids can't use consumables and they can't cast epic spells (or use oaken resilience long-term), which is what this arch-druid would do well with (at DC of 42). You'll not have any melee power, so it's a trade-off.

It does however suffer with the same issues as the dragon druid, since several bosses are more or less immune to DC spells of which almost all of your spells are, and as for PvP it is another trade-off as you can kill things that don't have good saves but will feel like you're not doing enough versus those who have good saves.

It's the typical druid dilemma given how their spell selection looks like. Still, that's the two options they've available for power; dragon or arch-druid style.
For those Zen Archers:
Tsidkenu wrote:1. Stat increase from items and level up points (and epic stat feats) should be considered separately. Levels & epic feats increase the base amount, and the limit for these rests in as many stat points (7) and epic feats (10 max for epic fighter) that you're prepared to pump into them.

Items with + stat do not stack with spells or items of the same type (with exception of a handful of paladin spells & barbarian rage), but will add to the base amount described above. The maximum overall bonus for stats is +12, basically only achieved by druids using the Owl's Insight spell for wisdom and stacking Barbarian rage to STR & CON.
