Warlock Build

Hey guys. With 25th looming, I need to make use of my stored XP for new main character. I am a bit out of shape regarding builds since I haven't been playing for a while, so I need your help.
My last main character was a Wizard, and I liked playing spellcaster for a change - but I think I'd work better with a spontaneous caster, or even better, a Warlock. I also like classes which require lots of levels in it, so that's another plus.
So, can someone recommend me a good Warlock build? I'm more inclined towards Charisma based Warlock.
My idea was Elf Feypact pure 30 level Warlock. I like the fact that elven weapon proficiency opens up access to Rapiers, and I remember that we had those nice +3 AC shield ones, are those still in?
Another question, how good DC would I get from Vampiric Feast? What feats are mandatory to take, and will I be able to hit regulary with ranged touch (I don't know if something was changed regarding this in the big update, so just making sure).
Thanks and see you IG!

The +3Shield AC rapier is still there, but NEVER CHANGE THE APPEARANCE.
If you do, it breaks the AC bonus.
Which really sucks in the case of the +3 AC halberd that Paws had. Cuz... it broke and there was no replacement.

Dark Transient, Improved Combat Expertise, Shield Proficiency, Steadfast Determination, and Eldritch Master. You may also want to consider Improved Critical Ranged Touch Attack.

How about Fey Heritage, Fey Power and Fey skin? Does it grant +1 to Warlock DCs and does DR from the feats stack with Warlock's DR?

It does both, but generally you gain more from picking spellcasting prodigy instead of using two feats on fey power. Besides, many DC warlock players are avoiding these kind of characters right now because apparently the DCs for warlocks are wonky.

I see. Thanks for the heads up then, I will go with something more familiar if that's the case.

Con lock blaster is still quite good and nothing needs to change feat wise. You could still go the DC route, but dip bard and pick up storm singer and use those for backup. You would want to take able learner and practiced invoker, but you would no longer need the shield feat.

From begining..
Along with updates appeared new possibilities, it is worth checking effect of spells, I recommend you check out the various types of energy (electricity, Neg. Energy, fire, cold) for specific targets. As the damage are properly established (at least 19d6 + 50%) problem is how to defend ourself (AC / HP / DR / Concealment / DC - Here I recommend to choose at least 2+ types). The current system provides a wide range of possibilities - You choose what fit best to Yours playstyle.
- CHA based warlocks was grait and really fun to play (WAS!). (pure lock - 19d6 + epic blast 7d6 +50% dmg per blast and 33DC (WAS!) - if needed), currently not worth but still playable

mix with BlackGuard and/or Hellfire for more AC/DC/dmg/possibilities.
- DEX based, here are few ways depending on the nature of character (CG/CN or evil), usually are mixed with SD or monk or rogue/assasin (daggerspell mage).
- CON based (pure) works just fine.. fey way with pure warlock can give constant 12/cold iron DR, add high hp (400+) with not bad blast dmg (19d6 (if 30cl) + 50% +all from epics)
From me - MIX works best
