Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The title pretty much sums it up. I crash to desktop whenever I try to connect to *any* server. First time trying to play online. I am patched to BGTSCC standards.

I have tried the following:

Disabling firewall
Adding permissions to NWN
Lowering graphics settings
Clean Install

Windows 10, yada yada.

If anyone can help me resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Try to download this and install it; it may solve the issue for you and you really need it to play NWN2 these days since it fixes many bugs.

I do have the client extension, which allowed me to find the server in the browser, as well as bypass the long wait at login.

I think I may have found my problem though. I downloaded the patches from the vault labeled as pcx1/pc. I didnt realize they were different. They may not even be. I correctly downloaded the patches for pcx2 (as I have all the expansions) and am currently applying them to a fresh install.

If this fixes my issues I will be sure to post about it. I found zero threads that helped me over the last few days.

Have the same issue.
Best I can do is start the game without the extension, which mitigates crashes but you have the slow login, yada, yada....
