do +EB gloves work on RTA for a lock if a weapon is not equipt?

I think it does.
On my sorcerer. My rta seemingly improves with +enhancement on my staff. So I'd assume the same goes for warlocks.

I think they do and it is frowned upon. Keep in mind if you use this technique and the enemy has deflect arrows, you may not be able to land a hit.

but i understand that this is frowned upon and glad i posted this question before i did something to get me in trouble.

Yes, due to a bug in the engine, enemies that have deflect arrows will be also occasionally deflect any ranged touch attack when you cast while having a weapon equipped. Basically, if you hold a sword and throw eldritch blast at them, you'll be missing a LOT.
