Halfling Slinger

Hi all,
Anyone got any advice on what's the best way to build a halfling slinger? I was thinking of Fighter12/Assassin9/Elemental Archer5/Anointed Knight4. I know we've got Warsling Sniper but I can't fit it in without dropping something I like. I picture him as a bit of a loose cannon and I want him to be a sneaky type.
Anyway, does anyone have any experience building slingers, especially stealth-based ones?

That is exactly the build spread I played with a halfling slinger. It was ridiculous. The Death Attack just destroyed things, and even without it, it ruined almost every mob, from a safe distance (and HiPSing away when it was dangerous was so easy, it kinda made it boring after a while! ).

The only downside to this build is lack of Evasion. Which drove me kinda crazy, considering the nature of the build. But with something like a 24 Reflex, 90% of saves were made. But you still take a whopping amount of damage (and it's not like this kind of build has high HP).

Hierophant opens up a caster Warsling Sniper option. It's not really what you're asking for (different classes and no stealth), but maybe tempting to you or someone else. Haven't played this but would love to hear how it fares if someone gives it a whirl.

Why does the Warsling Sniper stop at lvl 6 with special feats? I thought it stopped there and wouldn't go to lvl 10.
