Error that prevents you from proceding when you download

Hello All

Today I Aranum was trying to enter in the game and got this message. I'm new to the server and its systems. Not sure if I need to buy anything to continue play.

Verification of download file bg_soz_tools.hak' failed or was download but it cant be verified please contact the server administrator at [email protected].

I'm not sure if its something I did or what. I tried to update the game but still got this message. Can you help me please.

Hey there! Belated welcome to the server

A lot of people are having this issue right now. You can manually download a working copy of bg_soz_tools.hak here, then put it in the right folder (Documents/NWN2/hak on C drive by default), restart the game and try again.

I am having same error and tried downloading bg_so_tools.hak into tha file. I see it there but when I try and update to go in it says attempt attempt etc anf then failure. When I go back into the hak folder I find the name of the file corrupted to: bg_so_tools.hak.lzma
