So a little bird told me, that it is possible to disguise yourself (name) to one of your other characters (or your mule) and then you can access his banked items

That is a fine feature, but why is that information not made public for all of us ???

Because that can change. It was not intended to be like this.

Already asked the devs to fix this until a desicion is made. Thank you ( and the little bird ) for reporting this.

That crashing bug still happens - can that be fixed please.
(It's especially annoying during banking, as i now have two characters with the same name )

Thats why we didnt publish it. The only way for you to fix it, is to ask a dm...
