It has been a most chaotic time since I entered these lands, having left my home back in the Moonshaes. I can only hope my brothers will join me here once our holdings back home are secure and the heat of our fathers...untimely death....has blown over. It is easy for me to claim a pilgrimage to mourn his passing. It would look suspicious if all three of us left. And foolish, since we would lose access to the wealth and influence our holdings grant us.

Perhaps the most chaotic time has been my binding to an....other worldly entity for a number of moons. A binding that now seems to have ended after completion of a task that I will leave out of these pages.

Just incase some spy or sneak has found my personal diary. If you have and are currently reading this, know that I have ways of finding you and will take great pleasure in peeling the skin from your muscles with a kitchen knife. Worse if you force me to hunt you down.

In any case. Candlekeep seems down a tome, of some importance by the announcement I have read. I wonder if I should....help.
