Tiefling tails

Unread post by NegInfinity »

Would be nice if tieflings could have a visible tail.

This could require a DM approval or fiendish heritage feats. Or both.

This can already be RPed even without the actual tail models. Would be a good consideration for the Dev team, though.

Tieflings can roleplay having non-prehensile tails if they choose. Tails will not be added to character models.

I'm aware of "with no actual models" thing, what I was talking is about actual models. Multiple servers have this feature, it also exists on sigil.

Unfortunately my only character that could REALLY use a tail has been around for quite some time, and it is not like tieflings can suddenly grow a tail overnight.

PM me your character details. I can turn his tail on if you'd like. :P

Per the above, DM Rulings have been changed to direct players to contact admins if they want to play a tiefling with a tail:

xp_character supports toggling tails on character bic files. Just run a condition on the race.

Not all Tieflings have tails or horns, it should not be a default setting.

Per the above. It's not something we're forcing on tieflings. It's something they can request if desired.

You can't create a tiefling with 8 dex in nwn2. They have 10 dex and 10 int minimum and you can't go lower than that without some sort of cursed item, ability drain, etc.

Lol I am 100 percent positive a dm would grant a cursed item.
You are right about the dex though

Is this more of a move to 4ED Teiflings(or maybe it was 5th ED) cause as I recall, Tieflings aren't usually given such...prominent displays of their infernal/demonic heritage as they are in the later editions. Never did like that change lol, liked the more subtle hints and clues to that. Eyes, uneasy aura, little horns and the like. Not the full blown red skin, tails and quite noticeable horns :/

It's 3.5E dw.

A character belongs only to their player, and only them. And only the player may decide what happens.

Really....3.5 ED, hmm, somehow that doesn't sound right to me lol. Interesting. I know it was in 4th and 5th(from Neverwinter) but I swear those books still had limited hints to it. I guess they bolstered the blood, can't see you having a great great grandparent or such giving you tail or red skin :0
