Wanted: The Master

A tall, dark haired, man, wearing shining armor wash-tinted in purple and gold, notices the sign and stops to ponder it a bit. His brow furrowed, he seems to talk to himself a bit before walking away with purpose.

Those that notice him may see a large rosy disk around his neck.

Oakbeard's Prophacy



I have found it! A means to help The Inquisition find their fowl master, ancient druidic magic. It will require many components and much of my power to channel.. but I can finally aid my friends. I have dispatched a raven to gather them.



The raven lands on Master Inquisitor Ildar's shoulder as he reads the note he finds urgency in its message and heads for the Friendly Arm Inn, the known wherabouts of his druid seer Gaven OakHeart. When arriving at the Inn, he seeks out his seer and finds him at his usual grotto.
The seer spoke pleased with his accomplishments! He claimed he could aid them in finding their dreaded Master. He tells them to gather round as he flips through his mighty book of ancient druidic and grabs his crystal ball. He begins to channel and speak words in druidic as the orb glows bright with life. He speaks more druidic chant as the orb shows clear visions of a beast with horns and hair.



The Roywyn quickly pointed out that it was a Minotaur.. or a "bullman beast thing." The Seek Gaven told the group of the books first mysterious ingredient through a rough translation:

The bones of the Aspect of Strength itself.
Through the Chief can power be found.

Gaven has pointed them in the right direction to building his spell. The group sets out to find and slay the Minotaur chief and claim his horn for the seer. As the group heads into the woods of cloakwood, Gaven transforms into an old bearded treant and wonders off into the forest, telling them he will send a raven when the job is done.

Oakbeard's Prophacy prt. 2

The Inquisitors made there way deep into Cloakwood to the place indicated by the Great Seer Gaven Oakheart

There they found a cave and inside an ancient Labyrinth

They fought through many hordes of minotaurs and got lost for almost a half of a tenday


Then they found the great and terrible best who held the prize they seek

As the Inquisitors weakened the beast Ildar lunged high and sliced the fabled horn from its head. The beast fell and after a day or so they found there way out of the maze and headed back to seek out the Seer.

Oakbeard's Prophacy Pt. 2



The ancient text of this book eludes me yet again.. It took a 10 day just to decipher 4 lines of this moldy tomb. The writings are more maddening than useful, the continue to speak in riddles and cant. I believe I have the translation complete.. I have dispatched my flock to gather the Inquisition...



Swarms of ravens circle the wilds outside of the Friendly Arm Inn. The ravens circle Gaven Oakheart and draw in the members and friends of the Inquisition in addition to other curious patrons of the Inn itself. The seer Gaven informs Roywyn and company that he has deciphered the next piece of his book to completing the spell. He gestures them in and begins to speak in an ancient druidic.. after examining the text closely he translates;

Lurking in the place out of phase, a place of ghosts and monsters.
It waits right next to you and you don’t even see it.
Crossing the border only to bite, the fang from another plane.
Not one will do, but needed is Thirty Two.

The crystal orb of the seer begins to grow brightly as the ground shakes and energy is channeled through Gaven. A vision appears in the orb



Roywyn points out that these are Phase Spiders that lurk deep in the Cloakwood. Xmeck explains that the Thirty Two is in relation to their spider fangs which they would probably need 32 of to complete the spell. The group set forth in search of the spiders and were attacked by a swam on their way to the center of Cloakwood. From the start the party started to fall, but those that were left standing fought off the swarm. Wendy Sky slowly brought the dead back to life and healed the wounded. The group gathered the fangs from the dead beasts and handed them over to Gaven. They then made for his camp where he would continue to decipher the tomb for the next clue to completing the spell.

Rumors swirl as the Grandmaster of the Inquisition seems to have gone missing…………

Meanwhile Ildar awakens in a strange dark cavern naked with little memory of events due to what seems to be a near fatal wound to his head.

In the distance he sees what might be his attackers coming to finish him off so he flees.

Is this the end of Ildar and the Inquisition?

It would seem that there will be no one now to stop THE MASTER
