Help! I was attacked by a chicken!
Residents of BG have been reporting sightings of a 'crazy chicken' in the easten district. According to eye witnesses the chicken appears out of nowhere and follows people around. Captain Beluarion of the Flaming fist had this to say "We know of the attacks - we suspect someone is messing around with a Ploymorph spell, we advice anyone who knows of this strange chicken to report it to us right away" A similar attack was also reported outside the Friendly Arms Inn, where one man told us this: "We saw a HUGE cow! about the size of a house, it ran right past us! Oh...and a chicken too"

10 people found dead outside Gullykin by a group of Adventours - Killer still on the loose
A group of 6 men and 4 woman were found dead just outside Gullykin last night. A Half-Celestrial was also at the scene. These men were pirates - several sword wounds were found on the bodies. It is still unknown what this group of pirates were doing here and who killed them.

The Kobolds tried to bite me!
Guards around the Friendly Arms Inn are warning people to not travel unprotected, several people have been coming forward claiming they were ambushed by kobolds. These attacks have been reported all around the coast, although it seems things have calmed down local patrols are still urging caution as this may will be a silence before the storm. The attacks seem to be getting worse - Candlekeep are also expressing worry.

A demon held me prisoner and tried to kill all my patients...
Says Doctor McCoy, a travelling doctor currently staying in the BG docks district. He had this to say: "It was scary - I was helping a young woman and her two sons Larry and Mark -- but the demon kidnapped me and posed as me, if it wasn't for the aid of several adventours...I fear I would be dead. They killed the demon, thank the divines! But I regret to say the mother was killed. I will do what I can to repair the damage that was done"

We are back in Profit now
...Says Kheldrivver officals "With the new trade roads we can afford to pay our men fair wedges. Evil Necromancer still on the loose, Fist Officals concerned
According to several eye witnesses, an woman in black -- who was also the one responsible for the fuss at Terri's trial is still on the loose, and causing trouble. When asked on the progress of her capture the fist declined to answer. One person did step forward however, they requested their name be kept secret: "Aye, Scarlet Riddle is her name. She be going around killing people, heard a few lads talking about her at the campfire. She some sort of Necromancer I hear, and now that Half-Celestrial be lookin for her too"

Talking Zombies asked me for directions
Says a local farmer outside the Friendly Arms Inn, who had this to say: "I tried to fight em, but couldn't take em all on -- I ran to inform the guards but the group were gone when I came back, lucky my pigs were unharmed" Vendor Xon, a ranger was sighted talking with the group of 'talking' undead chasing them into the woods. We have yet to hear his side of the story.

Drunken Man arrested at Brothel
A bearded man was arrested outside a brothel near the Amnian province this week. Locals are saying a wild chase took place before the man was arrested by local guards. Eye wittnesses are saying the man could barely say his name. When the guard who arrested him was questioned he told us this "He mubbled his name -- he said Geist von Mitternacht I believe" the man was removed from the scene and order was restored. The man was charged with public nudity, public urination, public defecation, vandalism, heresy, theft, impersonating a city official, 27 different confirmed instances of solicitation of prostitution over the course of two days, and "Overall general buggery." Oddly however, all charges were dropped on this man.

Mysterious Death Of Judge Muriel Olaf of Osque
A man, believed to be part of the trial on the drunken man was recently found dead -- investigation is still pending but evidence suggests the man fell down his stairs. A knife wound was also found on the body. The City Watch is appealing for wittnesses and urges anyone to step forward who may know further information.

Dead Man Walking
Adventours have been coming to us claiming several undead have been spotted on the local trade roads. Several fighters have been patroling the roads to dispatch of this threat -- no one knows where the undead are coming from, but everyone is urged to travel with caution and not alone until the source if found and stopped.

It wasn't a chicken! ...It was a dragon
Says local cleric: "The dragon likes farm animals for some reason" he went on to tell us "Sometimes he visits us at the Friendly Arms Inn - he seems pretty friendly to me though" Several visitors in the farmlands have also sighted this mysterious talking chicken. Details on this are still unclear, we will keep you all posted.

Drow Raiders Spotted Outside CandleKeep
A small group of drow disguise as local merchants were spotted on the lions way, just outside CandleKeep. We have little information on this; however the ranger who spotted them claimed they were 'looking for something' the group soon fled when they were found. Several witnesses are connecting this to the Undead on the roads -- while others believe this has something to do with the current Ooze problem believed to be going on below.

30 bag Bounty On Mysterious hooded Necromancer
A bounty of 30 bags has been put on a mysterious necromancer - who was believed to be at Terri's Trial, was issued by a Half Celestrial woman calling herself 'Sapphire' she declined to disclose further details but urges all intrested parties to meet with her in Gullykin.

Planning Permisson Approved in BG for new Temple
Planning permisson has gone through today and was approved for a new temple. The Owner of the plot, Captain Deserah plans to start building right away; the meeting planner declined to give details - but we did manage to secure some information from an eye wittness who told us this: "I heard they were having problems, something in the dirt they have to get rid of" The temple is expected to be built within the next 4 - 6 months, however no offical details have been given.
