XP for Recovering Traps?

I thought I would suggest this. I do not think this has been suggested before. It is my understanding that we used to have XP for disarming traps, but removed it do to exploits. I think it may be possible to pull off recovering traps for XP with some code that stops cheating too.

how exactly would you even attempt to limit it?
unlike chests that are permanent, traps are always new spawns even when laying your own trap because it has to set a DC each time
how would you plan to work around that?

When a player sets a trap it may be possible to tag the trap and make it unique. Looking for such a tag would be part of the XP script and would determine whether XP can be granted. It may require some changes to set trap or may even need a replacement function though. This may be a lot of work too.

Couldn't two pc's just take turns seeing and recovering the traps?

If the player set traps are replaced with a unique tag, the script would not grant the XP for player set traps.

assuming they could detect each others traps then yes
unless the idea of the tag is to flag any player set trap and completely disable giving the xp so that only randomly spawned traps would give xp

I like the idea... I'd rather prefer Exp from removing traps than locks. ^^
