Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Chests that I could pick last week are no longer giving exp for picking the lock. There is still loot inside and I have not leveled at all. I am unsure if pick lock exp was removed or if this is a bug. Thus far I have only tested it in the goblin cave north of Beregost.

We haven't made any changes to the lockpicking or exp as far as I know. If anyone experiences the same issue module-wide let me know, otherwise I'm guessing it's just a change to the area.

Had the issue happen in the sharpteeth woods as well. The chest in the zone that exits to the fai. Picked it, got loot, no exp.

The locks dont always match the level of the chest. So if you are right on the edge, you will not get XP for picking the lock, but you will get treasure inside. (next level you will get neither lock XP or treasure) This is only on some of the chests. IIRC, this only occurs on ECL characters, but I could be wrong.

My level has not changed since the last time I looted these chests and received xp. Also I have tried the gnoll cave. Regular chests not giving xp. Magic chests that you need a key for are giving xp.

I think some chest XP is broken guys.
