Scribed Scrolls

Sorry if this has been asked before; forum search functions can be a pain to find anything unless you know exactly how to phrase it.
Anyway, is it possible to get scrolls scribed by PCs to use the same icons as those bought from a vendor or obtained as loot? When you have a bunch of scrolls for different spells, and EVERY SINGLE ONE looks identical, it can be a real pain to find the one you want in a hurry.

For that matter, is there a reason why player scrolls don't stack in inventory like regular scrolls do?

This only partially answers your question, but here goes:
First, when a player scribes a scroll, it's a major cost investment compared to NPCs, so I suspect that may be one reason why it doesn't stack.
The second however, is I suspect the reason. When you craft a scroll, you (oddly) get the chance to choose the 'level' of the scroll. I've no clue how or why you can do that, but apparently you can.

This. It's part of Rasael's custom spell scripts. I wish as much as you do, Ambaryerno, that the non-stacking and iconless scrolls produced by this system were not the result. My main Aeili used to earn her money by selling stacks of 5x Energy Immunity & Divine Power on the AH. Can't do that any more so all her money has slowly been drying up.

TBH it sounds like there's no reason to even bother with Scribe Scroll. They're hard to identify at a glance, don't stack, and cost about double what you'd pay for at a shop.
Seems the only advantage is you can scribe at higher CLs.
TBH, that doesn't outweigh the drawbacks.

Until you enter a dungeon and get dispelled a few dozen times. CL 15 Scrolls will get dispelled a lot less than many of the other scrolls.

Great for high-level characters who can Scribe at that CL AND will actually have the resources to afford it. Not so much when you're just starting out and gold is hard to come by.
By all means, higher CL scrolls SHOULD be exponentially more expensive to scribe, but it could really stand some rebalancing. And would still be nice if at the very least the icon matched the spell so you could actually tell at a glance what was what.

Everybody here has to deal with that issue. I dealt with it. Even the mighty PCs who have grandfathered gear or tons of it from before us dealt with it. Just buy the shop scrolls instead and move forward.
As far as gold goes I can start a PC new and make plenty with no muling or twinking. What is really hampering you is your lack of knowledge of the server and where to go for now. You will learn and then be able to make money.

I just see that there's room for tweaks to make it viable than just at high CLs, and don't see "just buy the scrolls and move on" as an acceptable answer: Just because players in the past dealt with things as-is doesn't mean there's not room for improvement NOW.
At the very least it makes no sense for it to cost more to make a scroll of the same CL as those available in the shops. Especially since you have to factor in not only the cost to craft the scroll itself, but the cost of a blank scroll on top of THAT.
And that still doesn't address the icon issue and making it possible to identify crafted scrolls at a glance.
