Ghostwise Halfling

It is my understanding that there are barbarian improvements going in, so, I am bringing this topic back up.

Ghostwise halflings have barbarian as their favored class, and do not have any big power issues that would need to be fixed. The ghostwise halfling race is already made; it only needs to be enabled.

The only issues are lore and RP ones as there are no mechanical reasons I can fathom not to let them in.

So, can we release "the hin"?

We can have the DM team consider it from a lore perspective if QC wants to have a look at the template that exists to see if it's appropriate.

If anyone has lore references concerning ghostwise halflings please feel free to quote below so we can review.

Eclypticon is right. There are absolutely no balance concerns. There is nothing to review mechanically. If anything they are weaker than the halfing sub races we already have.

Here is some more info:

Here is an interesting tidbit that warrants some discussion:
Racial Traits

Ghostwise halflings have all the halfling racial traits given in Chapter 2 of the Player's Handbook (pp. 15) except as follows:

Speak without Sound (Su): A ghostwise halfling, unlike other halflings, can communicate telepathically with any creature within 20 feet, just as if speaking to him or her. The halfling can only speak and listen to one person at a time, and he must share a common language with the other person or creature he speaks to telepathically, or the telepathic link fails.
Ghostwise halflings do not receive the standard halfling +1 racial bonus on all saving throws. They simply are not as lucky as their lightfoot cousins.
