Conjure Shadows spell

In the gameplay notes of the wiki, it says the following about this spell:
The caster incurs an alignment shift towards Chaotic Evil.
Does this really work IG? And, if yes, how is this implemented with regard to Cleric Domains? E.g. if one needs to change deity after casting the spell because of too much alignment deviation (e.g. from Lawful Neutral to Chaotic Evil), do the initially chosen domains also need to fit the new deity?

Not all of the spells that say you take an alignment hit actually give you a hit. I remember at least a month or two ago using avasculate and getting no alignment shift at all even though the spell says such would happen. Mind you that was a few months ago so...

They all do but it's random, each time you cast there is a varying but low chance to be shifted a few points towards CE.

Mmmh. That gives me the following idea for a build. Would it be legit, do you think?

You would need to be pretty patient as the chance for getting shifted is relatively low. Otherwise it looks like a nice build, you counted a few things several times though but it remains high everywhere !

For the legitimacy see with the DM team :P

Nothing wrong with the chosen domains so I do not see why not.

But as Vale said, it is up to the DMs.

These are encouraging comments! :)

Spurred on by them, I toyed a bit more with the basic idea of an alignment shifting build and came up with something that is very weak in its normal state but incredibly powerful when enraged...

What do you think? Would this work as described?

Can't crossclass monk with bear warrior. As per rules.

Where is that rule stated? In the wiki only Druid is mentioned. Is this something from PnP? Or a DM ruling? In any case I'd respect it, of course.

Lies and slander ! You probably misread at some point because there was no ninja hotfix on the wiki at all :P

I just checked the history of the page (everyone can) and even on the first version back in 2012 this warning was there.

Hmm... *rubs beautiful bear beard*

Because monk is lawful and bear warrior requires barbarian rage so, non-lawful ! That's why Rudolph is toying with a spell that eventually shifts your alignement to make these otherwise impossible combos.

Haha. You were probably thinking of the Druid/Monk prohibition.
And I guess you never monked with your Bear Warrior because Bear Warrior needs Rage, Rage needs Barbarian, and Barbarian can't be lawful, which a Monk must be. I built that Bear in response to the new alignment-shifting-by-spell possibility...

That thread about the BW class is informative but also sounds somewhat discouraging. Bear-shaping in tough environments seems like a risky affair. And without full rcr there is no more chance of testing all the imponderables. Mmh.
