Looking for Feedback

I don't play a lot of casters, so I'm looking for feedback on the build progression for Lucia. First of all here's some important stuff:

1) This is NOT going to be a power-build. I'm not going to be splashing classes for abilities/feats. It's going to be a strict 15/15 Fighter/Wizard. There's a reason for that, however because it's a bit of an in-joke I don't want to post it here because I'd love to see if anyone actually picks up on it. If you want or need the details, PM me. This is NOT changing, so don't even suggest it.

2) The starting stats were defined based on the above-mentioned gag:

STR - 8
DEX - 16
CON - 8
INT - 16 (just increased this to 17 on my last level)
WIS - 14
CHA - 15

Currently planned ending stats:

STR - 8
DEX - 18
CON - 8
INT - 20
WIS - 14
CHA -16 (alternately could put that point into DEX or INT and use a Great DEX/INT feat to finish out the bonus)

3) There's certain spells I'm taking, again because of the aforementioned gag. As long as I get the ones on my list, anything else is gravy.

4) I see her party role as being able to contribute to both aspects of the fight wherever needed. As a fighter I'm wanting her to be capable of holding her own in melee, but she doesn't have to be a monster AB/DPS/Tank. As a caster, she would use buffs to supplement her combat abilities, along with a mix of utility, defensive, and offensive spells.

Current Feats: Spellcasting Prodigy, Weapon Focus (Short Sword), Able Learner, Weapon Finesse. I'm already planning to take Practiced Spellcaster to boost her CL and make up for the lost levels there. I've also planned building to Combat Insight to get my INT applied to damage. Lastly I'm looking at Craft Wondrous Items and Craft Magical Arms/Armor so I can enchant my own gear.

Current Gear: Shortsword +1, Light Shield. I'd eventually like to get her into a Mithral Chain Shirt and Mithral Light Shield.

I've mainly played melee builds in the past, (especially F/WM) so any suggestions with that information in mind would be much appreciated. Thanks ina dvance!

To be honest she'll be rather useless almost everywhere. As for progression I'd probably go like this :

fighter 4
fighter 4/wizard5
fighter 12/wizard 5

Then all wizard and finish with fighter levels.

Fighter first to survive because with 8 CON you want some HP, then 4 for weapon spec because damage >0 is nice, wizard 5 to get useful spells like improved mage armor, heroism and spiderskin. Avoid areas with dispels obviously.

Then the goal is fighter 12 to deal a tiny bit more damage, then more wizard levels.
