Hey guys, I used to do some large polls where I'd take votes on what race I would create some new faces for. I exclusively use vanilla models for this, as I don't like to utilize other people's models (Modders that is)

Whatever is voted here will be what I work on next, albeit it'll take more time than it used to, due to this not being 2013, where I had less responsibilities.

In the past I did 5 heads per a voting poll, this is going to remain the same. It will either be 2Males/3Females, or 3Males/2Females. Most popular vote gets elected and is what I will work on.

Clarification : There's no guarentee any of my finished textures will be added to the server, and if it is, it could have modifications to the textures as needed. Screenshots as work is completed will be posted in this thread.

My server would always be interested in new customizations. I've uploaded a lot of your content onto our server. You rock.

Have not worked on the planetouched heads yet shamefully. However I had a request for a head before the poll was over. So these two heads may come to the server. One is bearded, one is not. Same head otherwise.

This will be for half Orcs, I was attempting to make it look more 'human' overall. However I'm limited to texture editting, so this is the best I could do.

Those look neat! I quite like the bearded version.

Okay first head for the Genasi is done. I've decided to do both genders for each head.
The future problem I foresee for the Genasi is these heads will be ugly unless the server allows for the planetouched to use 'Human' hairs. In the screenies they are using human hairs.
The textures are all complete it will be repackaged in the future once I finish the project.

Went for a fish scale look.
Made the eyes similar to the vanilla water Genasi.
Based off a vanilla Elven head
Ignore this content for now. It may be incompatible with the race. Testing as of now.
Tested, these head models work on Genasi body models.

Been away from awhile. Haven't had time to work on the project. Just finished this however for Fire Genasi. It's a bit of a weird flare on the race. Has glowing orange runes. Eyebrows also have a 'glow' but can still be colored. Eyes are locked to that flame orange.

Based it off some Fire Genasi artwork I found online. Wanted to recreate it.

(Used a mod that allowed for custom colors on character creation. Otherwise eyebrows can't be colored)

Last picture used the black skin from color palette and default Genasi Female Hair

Nice stuff. Would be cool to see something similar for Earth Genasis. Also variant heads that have a marble-like or crystalline texture would be cool too, rather than just earthy rock like textures.

Hey Paul, thanks for the update. Would it be too much to ask for longer, dwarf-esque beards for the rest of the humanoid races ? They desperately need them !

Adding beards isn't something I can do. That requires editing models and other files. I only use texture tools essentially.

As for the Earth Genasi. It's already pretty much finished. Just have to touch it up.
It is designed to look more like a dryad, fitting the theme of earth but I wanted to do something other than tossing over a HD rocky normal map this time. Since, that's what I did last time. Eyes are kind of dead looking, that was intentional.

Last on the list is the Air Genasi. Though that one I always find the most difficult to come up with ideas for. If you guys have any art or inspiration for how they'll appear, feel free to PM me.

Eye palette currently changes color of leaves.
Skin color changes the skin color as normal.
Bark cannot be colored.
The eyes were used for leaves because they are a very colorful palette.
Updated the picture now that I moved it to the Genasi race properly. The image now displays the the vanilla color palette of the Earth Genasi.

Did some minor edits to the skin to let the colors show up better. They were designed to try and show Seasons as shown in the picture.

Please make more human heads with tatooes. Colorable tatooes.

We'll see in the future. Generally I prefer to keep things to the polls. It helps me gauge interest of the community as a whole. It also makes it easier for me to put my focus on one project at a time.

The complications with tattoos on most human faces is that the tattoo would have to be mirrored on both sides of the face. That's just how the UV maps are set up.

Also making the tattoos colorable can lead to issues. For example I would either have to attach those colors to the eyebrow or eyes palette. Both are pretty sub-par options. Eyes offer a wider range, and eyebrows would take up a slot.

So the best way would be eyebrows, and make eyebrows on the faces non colorable. The issue comes back again, to it just not offering many colors.

Regarding the current work: I only have the air Genasi left. However, I ran into some serious artists-block, and can't find any concept art that I think is very appealing to emulate.

If anyone has any pieces they'd like me to use for the last set, I'd be grateful. Once the entirety is complete, we can look into possibly implementing them in the future.

I also plan to have another poll open up after I finish these.
