Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hey ya'll, building what I hope to be is a fighter/barbarian/weapon master, but I'm thinking I want to take a splash into something to give me a boost in skill points. Given the RP of the character, I'd like to avoid bard. What do ya'll suggest? (Guessing rogue comes highly recommended lol)

rogue is the best just for skills yea, and you would get evasion

You might want whirling dervish instead of rogue given you already have two base classes. A third could add an exp penalty depending on how you build and whirling dervish would grant much the same as rogue does. Has a few pre-reqs though that you may not want. Just something to consider.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't even think about the xp penalty...I'll definitely think that up. Thanks guys!

Ranger also has a few skill points, but again the xp penalty with another base class.

I'm trying to remember, but as a human, it's the top class that is favored right, so if I went something like fighter 4, barbarian X, Wm (whatever since it's a prc), and (skill class+/- of fighter) I'd be ok right?

So I've set my boy up for an RCR'S (lvl8) tonight after work. I've looked over the dervish PRC and frankly I'm embarrassed I didn't look at it before! Really fits the character concept. I'm leaning on a fighter (13) dervish (10) Wm (7) build. Pretty straight forward. Whatcha all think?
