Are some characters luckier than others?

My main would find yesterday's meal in your trash can, but my alt would find diamonds, a new car, and more than likely some armor of quality. Is there an rng assigned at creation or something?

There have been many Players that believe this. But I seriously doubt it...though I once had a PC that found 2 suits of mithral full plate, so go figure.

What has been proven is that any PC/Player that loot-grinds with Excel chart efficiency will be guaranteed major and awesome loot. Combine that with OOC uptrades, and you'll find yourself, eventually, very lucky indeed!

If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

With that said I doubt the loot system works like that, probably more on RNG than anything.

Yep, never once found anything much good in my time here, though I don't really loot run, so take that with a grain of salt.
