Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hi Guys

I am an old player trying to get back into the server.

I have tried to connect on the IP 213.32.78.160 address but I get an error saying

"Client and server versions do not match"

I have NWN2 with Mask and SOZ patched to version 1.020 which is the latest on the auto patcher seems to allow.

I am missing something?

After actually reading the the pre reqs properly I need version 1.23.

NWN vault and other resources seem to be offline so can anyone help me with this patch please?

I don't have patch separately but easiest way I think would be just buy it again at gog.com and then you can download it any time. Just remeber to save your old CD Keys!

If you go to the second post in this thread, made by Luna, you will find a link to a .rar file containing a fully patched NWN2 (with MotB and SoZ, I believe).

Download, unpack, add in your unique Keys, and try and connect to BGTSCC to download the latest HAK files.

If you cannot download the HAKs or the auto-updater for BGTSCC crashes, then this link I'm placing below also has manual download links to what is needed:

Thanks Steve I have downloaded and unpacked. Any idea how I get my cd keys onto the game from here? I have the original DVD case with them ready to go!

It's a file called nwn2cdkey.ini, or something like that, in the same folder as the .exe file.

You'll need to type in the 3 different keys, in that .ini file.

Manual patches are also available on the vault.

I'm an old player that wants to come back. I tried the link that Luna posted, but it says that it can't decompress it all. That the file may be corrupted...

I need help. If you could also detail every step, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm the kind of dinosaur that dosen't understand computers well ^^'

The very last post here (by Endelyon) is where you can pick up most of the custom content for the server if the auto-downoader is giving you issues:

You will need to first install your game. If it's from GOG, it should be all patched up already. If it's not, you'll need to update to the latest patch (1.23): https://neverwintervault.org/patches?fi ... ts_tid=All

Once you have everything installed, if you have an account you've previously played on and are getting booted from it now, it probably means your CD key has changed. You will want to PM both "Endelyon" and myself, "Maecius," (or just the "Global Admin" group) so that one of us can fix it for you. In your PM, you will want to tell us which of your accounts need to be established for the new CD key.

Once that's all done, you should be good to rejoin the game! But if anything's unclear in these instructions, or you're still having trouble, let us know.
