Tcho's HD UI Panels

Anyone here use Tcho's HD UI patch?

I've got a 4K monitor, which means the default text size in NWN2 is microscopic when I run at max resolution. As a temporary workaround I've set the game to run at 1920x1080, but this is only useful when I'm running in Full Screen mode. Switching to Windowed mode means that the game no longer fills my entire display, and I'm back to unreadably small text again.

Tcho's is a UI patch/override which works WONDERS in the single-player campaign. The only problem is that on other PWs (Dalelands, UT) I've played on, a number of functions (KEMO Auction, PC Tools, etc.) break the patch. Either the text is enlarged but not the menus, and some text disappears (this is especially a problem in PC Tools, particularly for Skill/Ability checks), or the patch just plain doesn't work and everything remains tiny.

I'd like to be able to switch back to using Windowed mode so I can better make use of the Client Extension, but that's not going to be possible unless I can figure out the resolution issue.

Ive been so sick and not had much energy for a while, so it might take me a while to get it done, but I might be able to help fix the resolution problems,

Use different player folders for each of the different PWs. Theoretically this should work.

No it doesn't.

The problem is that if any part of the UI is included in the server files, it overrides the custom UI.

For example, Tcho's interface patch includes a redesigned Inventory and Character Sheet screen. When I have his patch installed it works fine when I play offline. However those elements of the UI are included in the server's files, so if I connect to the server it loads the default UI elements for the Character Sheet and Inventory.

This also becomes a problem with other on-screen elements, such as the buttons in the PC Tools menu; the text size is enlarged, but NOT the actual buttons themselves. As a result, if the text is too large it doesn't fit, and sometimes doesn't even display.

It's complicated by the fact that NWN2 isn't always clear exactly which font groups apply to which interface elements. IE the "Dialog" fonts don't ACTUALLY affect the chat window. That's controlled by the International Font. However this font ALSO affects other elements (such as the Server Select screen).

The server can toggle whether or not to override the user UI, separate of the override folder flag. BGTSCC does not override the client UI with few exceptions. I don't see Tchos as being one of them.

I can confirm that the Inventory and Character screens are indeed being overridden.

This is what they would look like if they weren't:

The PC Tools menu is also being overridden. My PC Tools menu is completely blank, and when I edit the XML file to increase the size of the menu to correct nothing changes.

I have a 34" ultra wide monitor... I am using Skywing and I get the smaller text.. but it does stretch evenly with the game world and character models.
