Stormlord class

Was just considering this class for a build concept and am wondering:
1) It looks seriously gimped at the moment. Is the development (or QC) team considering making it more viable in the near future (e.g. by getting the weapon enhancement back in) or is this a low priority?
2) On top of all the gimpedness, I found this comment about Shock Weapon on the wiki:
This ability sometimes does not affect a character's weapon if it already has elemental damage on it, such as +1d6 fire damage or +2 magical damage.
How bad is this, probability-wise, and is this being fixed by any chance? If I want to use top level throwing axes, for instance, all of which have some form of the damage mentioned, would the electrical dmg reliably apply? If not, I wouldn't risk taking the class, so it's important to be able to make a good guess.

If you play cleric or favored soul, you will not feel the nerf much. The loss of stormlord weapons only really effects builds with a lower AB. I think we could get away with giving all non cleric or favored soul builds +2 AB though. The dispel fix makes power building non clerics much harder now.

I am unaware of the bug being a big problem. Hopefully someone will chime in here.

its some glitch that happens yes, but the properties have nothing to do with it, some weapons simply wont take it and its completely random

tho this is just a vfx glitch, i have yet to see a weapon not get the actual damage

Thanks for those answers!

Even though the Shock Weapon glitch doesn't seem so bad, I'll probably still go with regular Cleric levels as long as there is no more Stormlord EB bonus. It's for a build where every point of AB counts.
