Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I 've been using the fairly newish custom appearance changer (using the item bought from merchants, not the older version) and have something odd happening. A bandolier-style belt with a knife is being added to my armor. It didn't appear until after I'd logged out and then logged in after a server reset.

Weird thing is that it seems to be stuck with my character. Like when I change to a different armor, or even completely remove armor, that belt with the knife still shows up.

Has anyone experienced this issue? And is there a fix for it?

have you tried to take off your normal belt first then swap outfits 2 times?

Thanks for the tip Lisa, but it doesn't seem to fix things up. I've tried completely removing my belt slot item, and then switched to different outfits like 10 times. I even tried logging in and out with no armor on at all. But when I go to put my new armor on, that darn bandolier keeps showing up. This occurs even with an empty belt slot. Any other ideas?

Is it mithril armor? as in, the epic breastplate? If yes I can detail how to get rid of it.

Nope, it was just basic +2 Full Plate bought off auction.

Wait a second here - I did change the full plate armor appearance to look like chainmail. I wonder if that is the cause of my problems. That bandolier didn't show up until after I'd logged back in after a long break, which seems like really odd behavior.

I suppose I may just have to stick with the full plate armor appearance, but I'm open to ideas if anyone knows how to make that bandolier go away.

In short, it will 'go away' when its on a suit of armor that doesn't have the belt pre loaded onto it, and you zone.
