Deadly Defense

Deadly defense doesn't seem to be applying, at least not when fighting in CE. The +1d4 damage isn't reflected in the Character Sheet, according to which my minimum damage should be 10 (roll of 1 + EB + Inspire Courage + Ability Bonus). With Deadly Defense, my minimum damage when fighting in CE should be 11 (above, plus roll of a 1 for DD). However I'm still seeing the occasional 10 damage.

Also testing in Parry mode, and checking for Max Damage. My max without DD is 15, with should be 19. So far I've not rolled above 15 for damage on a normal attack.

It works, you have to toggle Deadly Defense on seperately after toggling CE.

I need to double-check, but I'm pretty sure the in-game description says it's automatic when Parry or CE are turned on.

If that's the case, then either the description needs to be updated, or is there any reason it's not scripted to be automatic per the description?

It's correct as it is, it's an automatic roll when it is toggled on, like other feats similar to it.

No, in the OC it was always on, as CE or parry was enabled, here you have to manually toggle it on top of CE or parry.

(thats not an issue, but i was used to it otherwise - so i just forget to toggle it on often)

Why was it changed for the server?

Still, I wonder why it was set up to be activated separately. Wouldn't it make sense to just have it kick in automatically so long as you're in CE/Parry and meet the other requirements?

DD is already checking for Parry, CE, light/no armor, and a finesseable weapon, anyway, how much difference would it make if the script checks automatically vs only when you go to turn it on?
