Twohander Feat

How about implementing a new feat similar to One-Hander for users of two-handed weapons. :?:

That bit of situational AC would be really helpful for them too ;)
It could reset the knockdown counter instead of feint counter.

A two-handed weapon feat that allowed you to enter a stance to trade some damage for a bit more defense or a bit more knockdown would be pretty nifty. Or even if it is just some situational AC, I like the idea of more uses of knockdown though to fit the kind of aggressive defense motif, maybe have it trigger off taking a ton of damage?

Some of that is what I came up with Master of the Longsword for. Trades damage for AB, with some feats providing AC boosts for 2Hers. But that's an entire class around the concept.

I like the idea, though I would be surprised if that many of our current twohander builds max skill points into parry, bluff and tumble along with an investment in the Feint feat (needed to take full advantage of Onehander).

It would help boost some interesting rogue STR builds as opposed to prevalent DEXers, amongst other concepts.

Such a feat would after all offer some bonus to AC in return for the existing sacrifice of ever using a shield.


However I fail to see why the feat should offer even more chances (then Onehander) at damage to the existing STR PBs, keep the possible gained bonuses as is from Onehander.
