Getting the camera to snap to character

Unread post by bonebrah »

Not sure if the right forum but I saw a gameplay video where the camera locked behind the character when they walked/turned, much like a 3rd-person shooter/mmo etc. Is there a way to do this natively in game or was the person particularly smooth with their camera skills in the video?

Also, how do I RP walk so my toon doesn't look like he's dashing through the streets/buildings all the time?

To walk you can press shift before clicking on the point you want to go to, it's easy to make a mistake though so another way is to use one of the combat modes that makes you walk like "search" (unless you're an elf) or "track".

For cameras there are three modes, if i recall correctly the shortcut for switching between them is *, one of those is the mode you're talking about.
