Greater Curse Level 8 is Still transmutation spell

is it in the pipeline to be necromancy? same with regular curse

Holding on it for now because transmutation lacks good spells if I remember correctly.

Oh thank goodness...why not bring the other one back to it? Only makes sense IMO that it should be under transmutation instead of necro

If anything, both spells need to belong to the transmutation school

HA!

Well the school of necromancy has plenty of spells of all kinds almost on every level. Transmutation doesnt. If a change needs to be made, then the low level spell should be switched to Transmutation

We need a valid lvl 9 Transmutation spell too.

They removed Etherealness and Shapechange is not working properly.

I vote for greater Desintegration. 2d6/levels, no limits!

And mass flesh to stone! AoE petrification!

Well.. It sucks. Compared to the DnD spell, it is very limited and rarely useful.

Iron Golem form should be immune to magic but isn't and also has so low HPs it's not worth the risk.


The two Giants are useless unless figthing orcs.

The Devil form is PvP consent, and useful against low level mobs only.

Nightshadow..undead...thing... is weak.

Its supposed to be transmutation.... Transmutation is all about altering stuff and a greater curse greatly alters the stats of anything it is cast on. Alteration = Transmutation. 8-)

and if they are that concern we can make come from both schools
one source is Spell Compendium. - necro
the other source is races of destiny -transmute

so really there should be 2 versions of spell from 2 schools

Iron golem not working like it should and the frost and fire giant forms being terrible. Devil and Nightwalker are good. It'd be really nice if there were other options though.

Shapechange:

Adjusting the spell's forms requires a change in the polymorph.2da and the script.

I would be willing to do it if the staff gives permission (and I require the 2da file, the script and limits = merge weapon, armor and items?).

What changes are you thinking about?
