Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

A small hin garbed in dark clothing walks the length of the Trade Way. Some might recognize Nihm "Mossy" Mosshill... some might not. In Badlur's Gate, the Friendly Arm Inn, Beregost and Nashkel she carefully ensures a seven-sheet list of her inventory is posted on well-watched bulletin boards or in locations that are out of any possible harsh weather and easily readable by potential customers.

Mossy seems to be most commonly found around Henry Mudd's consignment in the Friendly Arm Inn and then on occasion at the merchant area just east of Baldur's Gate's East District. Generally she will be busily writing in her leather bound ledger if she doesn't have a customer or two asking about her wares and bartering.

A priestess in red-and-black enameled armor pins a folded parchment to the FAI bulletin board. It is secured with a wax seal bearing a stag's head emblem forming the shape of a "V".

Valerod Elamroth ("Val" to those that know him) takes note of the posting on the Baldur's Gate bulletin board, and starts asking around about this "Mossy" person in order to get in touch with her.

He gets a few passable descriptions, and sets off looking for her on the trade way. Eventually he spies someone he thinks matches the description and approaches her, waving in her direction. As he approaches he asks, simply... "Mossy?"

When she confirms her identity, he introduces himself... "Name's Val... I hear you've got some goods for sale? Still have the Mithral Chain shirt? I'd be willing to pay... say, twenty for it? Is that fair?"
