Is this "trip" attempt works same as trip/knockdown? I mean is the checking also your str modifier vs opponent's str or dex modifier plus size difference? Or you can use your dex instead of str?

And it seems unlike knockdown, this Frontline Archer attempt do make damage to opponent as if you attack him with a club. Any enchancement bonus on your longbow will NOT incease damage on this attack but will help to overcome DR type xx/magic. Is this currect?

Your Dex vs higher of opponents Str or Dex. It's an amazingly great feat.

Not sure about the damage. That's not what you use it for. 8-)

OK yes maximun 4 points of damage in every 12 seconds is not important. But is this trip attempt automaticaly hit? Or has a melee touch attack check like knockdown?

It works identically to Improved Knockdown in every respect except you use a longbow, your Dex mod, and it has a neat animation :mrgreen:

OK thanks. I was thinking about a "shoot and run" archer. This feat should be considered seriously.
