Someone please riddle this monk kit for me. At a first glance it seems inferior to pure monk in almost every aspect; when and how would you use it in a build ? Thanks.

Simple. It will never be released.

I can choose to progress as a MotLD on my monk, though.

No. It stops at the last step.

If you take 25 levels in the class the Paralysis ability actually gets a pretty decent DC on it. You will forgo ever having adamantine fist, though most of the rest of the monk abilities you will get still (Impr. Knockdown, SR, Empty Body, 3d10 damage fist, etc).
This is assuming the various bugs involved with the Kit program will get fixed at some point, which should be a low priority project in my opinion.
I did a fair amount of testing on this kit and since I left QC I've no idea if the other bugs I identified were even touched yet either (probably not).

As I've stated in the QC thread a few times, I supported it more when it was being designed as an actual PRC based on the PNP PRC. With the kit, it changes how that functions with regards to the base class. The PRC variant was worth it, though, with some builds (for instance, I tested monk16/mld10/fighter4 at the time, as a variant of the monk26/fighter4. It was superior in some situations, and inferior in others. As is the point of PRCs - specialisation.
