Deth and the Disappearing Body

I died twice this weekend while within a large parties with two different pc's. Upon death my body would disappear making it impossible to be raised. Seems to be a new bug?
I have not seen this one posted yet so I thought I would mention it.
On the second death my computer crashed while loitering in the fugue and my body suddenly appeared. Unfortunately I was teleported (by a dm) to the surface and was not raised - when the server reset I was immediately sent back to the fugue. I lost exp for both deaths as I did not have been raised.
If this is happening to you- you die and your body disappears, try relogging to see if you body reappears to be raised.
Maybe this tip may help.

Yeah the death system was rewritten so new bugs are likely.
Relogging should fix a corpse dissapearing issue yes, but I don't quite understand how they dissapear in the first place as it's not systematical at all. If you stumble on this bug please report the circumstances as precisely as you can, as of now I have no idea how to reproduce it so it's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.

It happened three or four times when we were having sparring sessions in the Ebon Blade. I can't recall exactly what happened, but it seemed to me the corpses just disappeared after dying. I recall someome saying in some circumstances the corpses just disappeared after resurrection (No actual ressurection happening).
Additionally I also saw it happened in the necromancer cave, where a player was killed while being knockeddown repeatedly.
Now that I think about it someone was also using knockdown at our sparring sessions, I have no idea whether that should have any effect on the death system.

Nope
I did some half-hearted changes (for next update) but I doubt it will fix this elusive issue. Try relogging in case of a bugged dissapearing corpse in the meantime.

I've seen it a few times. It seems the corpses disappear if there is no one in the areas.

expose weakness was used on those that fell and had their corpses disappear.

It happens if the character is killed with spells as well.

Yes, I spelled Death wrong...
So I logged into the game today and my corpse appeared at my feet at log in. I picked up the corpse went to the fugue and re-spawned.
Lost my exp (talked to DM Hera about it)
I took screen shots but I do not know how to upload them to the forum.

Something similar happened several times during a training session at the arena a week ago. Basically, characters were getting fugue'd after getting ko'd by anyone using pommel-strike and lunge, which I assume happened because of the invisible doppleganger hitting the incapacitated characters...

... I have personally fugue'd someone in pvp by using expose weakness. I think it has to do with the bleeding damage.
As for knockdown, I've never seen someone die from it, so that's a weird one for sure.

Was in the gnoll cave today, as 2 party members perished.
As we tried to get their corpses - there were none (but they were still in fugue).
As they reloged - their bodies appeared and we could pick them up. We went outside to the nearby stone circle and as i dropped both bodies, only one appeared and could be raised, the other disappeared again just as i dropped him
So we looked again in the cave where he had perished and - as we told that player to relog again - his body appeared again in the cave. (This time we could raise him successfully).
Death is getting scarier and scarier .....

It keeps happening to my character. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, and for all I know it could be on every death. My character's body just disappeares and won't reappear unless I log out and back in, but if I do that, the next time the server crashes I will be sent to the Fugue regardless of being raised or not.
This has happened multiple times now. Also another thing I'd like to mention here is, when I relogged, I lost all of my equipment (dropped them on the floor) except for my armor. I had full inventory when this happened and managed to pick them up again, but I'm not sure why it did it.

There is an option to add you screenshot file down there while you PM the DM team
click the add file and wait a while, then place inline to place the image where you pleases.
this might help

Never ever have a full inventory !
On login - there runs a un- & reequip script, so if you have a full inventory you are always screwed.
