Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I think this 200 gold cost should be removed. This spell would be great for combat tactics, Kiting and escapes but the cost makes it relatively ineffective. The spell is not a large utility teleport, Its a short combat teleport.

Actually I would believe it to be used for utility as well, ledge you can't get to who needs a rope! Also the cost is for the Material Component most likely as it is with Teleport and Greater Teleport.

Yea that's like two locations, One when the ability to use it within dimension locked areas is removed. That's not a pnp cost, that's just a server thing. While i approve of teleport being a gold sink, A localized teleport like dimension door is hardly in the same position. If it is then i think all those ability's mimicking the effect such as shadow step should also have a 200 gold cost. After all the ability's mimicking teleport (E.G Shadow walk) still retain a full gold cost even when granted as a class feature.

It's range then could mimic Ki-Step's, if it won't have a material cost.

Leave it as it is , simply love this spell and wil pay gold to use it.
