Personality Profile:
General Health: Good

Base Class & Proposed Development: Ranger (24) Rogue (6)
Habits/Hobbies: Can be a bit of a packrat, wants to be prepared for anything
Languages: Elven, common, Shaaran, Dwarven
Weapon of Choice: Short swords
Background: "Val", as he goes by, was raised in a small frontier village in the Dun Hills, near the Misty Vale, offspring of a Wild Elf from the Vale who visited the village some time ago, but left without realizing he had sired a child. Being different in a small village meant Val was constantly a target for the other children, and the fact the he was smaller than the other children and grew up more slowly only worsened things. Val learned to hide from his tormentors, and eventually to use his natural agility to embarrass his tormentors. When he reached his mid-20s, his mother was killed defending his village from some of the creatures that wander the area. With her gone, he made some cursory attempts to discover who his father was, but the Wild Elves did not welcome him... and so, without a true home or detachments, he went off on his own to wander the world, the wild-elf spirit within him pushing him to explore.
Goals: Val would like nothing more than to have a true home, but has never felt embraced anywhere he's gone. He's long past wanting to change himself to fit in somewhere, however. He still has some level of curiosity about his father, but has given up hope on ever finding him.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Val has learned to be cautious bordering on paranoia, though he still gets into trouble from time to time just from trying to help others. He rejects prejudice against anyone simply because of who they are, so may be a firm ally to Half-orcs and others that may be rejected by society.
