Shards Online Alpha

I'm not sure how many folks are aware, but, Shards online recently came into alpha. Its gotten a whole lot smoother than pre-alpha and is shaping up fairly well. If any of you played pre-alpha and were turned off, it is far more smoother now.
If any of you don't know what Shards Online is, its an mmo in the same spirit of Ultima Online. There are multiple persistent worlds, and a heavy modding community. There are official servers, and unofficial community made servers. A fair few of them have come from nwn1 and nwn2, as well. There is more information on their site and their subreddit. In addition, there is a discord chat, where the developers keep lines of communication open.
If any of you are interested follow it, or even drop the 40$ for alpha access. If I am not mistaken, beta will be free as will the game when it releases. There will be a steam release some-time soon as well. I'm not sure if that will be during alpha or when beta comes out, however.
If any of you want to go into the alpha, see here. I'm having fun with it personally, but that is a matter of personal preference. It is definitely playable, however.
