Ubtao and Chult

I have been under the impression that divine followers of Ubtao loses their power when he exits Chult. However, I'm not sure this is the case anymore. The source of that was FR wiki, and it had no reference. If any wikipedia article didn't have a reference, I'd be mighty suspicious. And FR wiki is our IG wikipedia.
I did some digging. In Faiths and Pantheons, it had nothing about Ubtao followers losing their power outside Chult. So, I did some more digging. I found no evidence to say it is the case. I found a case of this question on a forum (link), and I do agree with the concluding logic. That being:
Ubtao can grant spells outside of Chult. Deities aren't regionally bound. For example, even if Ubtao has forbidden preaching in Chult, divine casters not of Ubtao can still use their powers. Divine casters of race specific gods don't suddenly lose their powers when in territory that doesn't belong to their race.
Does anyone have anything to add to this thought (specifically, with evidence)? Or is my new conclusion, that Ubtao divine casters can cast outside of Chult, correct?
