Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Walked to the goblin ruins, with my toon name 'Suse' south from FAI along with some dwarven monk "%Firstname% Ironfaar" to spank some. The monk rushed into the ruines with her monk speed, i was catching behind, we got into ambush, so i got killed (Hold Person+low will DUUUH)... no bigge i thought... but the monk never found the body :C

I've decided to see for myself and RP from the other account(while being online on the first, also im still online till the restard)...

RP'd a missing fella that walkied to the goblin ruins and hasn't returned, asked for assistance to escort me to the ruins or help find her(Suse).

Krueger Depp Woodgrow agreed to investigate the missing person(also never found the body on the map... right now im sitting in fugue waiting for DM to solve an issue with missing body and after restart going to return to life, since the body won't be there anyway...


So... i wanted to ask if that's an issue or its just me?

Try relogging on the killed PC.

Didn't you write there was no body to begin with ? If so try logging off and logging back on, the body should be recreated where the PC died.

will the body still be there after the restart? (im willing to wait for an adventurer to get by for hours )

UPD: i got ressurected, then after a restart i was offered only to go in a fugue plane again...

This exact thing happened to me. Last time I played my drow, I was running around with others and got caught by a trap on a chest. No body. Re-logged. There was a body -huzzah- and my character was raised.

Logged in now and Myrkul wants XP.


Edit: Wasn't carrying a body or anything like that.

Had a body vanish recently too. Heard of one other similar event. Seems if not a new fault? one that is more noticeable recently.
