Once the door to her chambers at the Inn closed Ulrica began to sputter quiet curses as she pulled out the needles out of her blond tresses to have a good scratch at the itching places on her scalp.
Tluin that Khazark leaving her still wearing the embarassment and what the Hells had that creep Zurn penned down to him?
She swiftly composing herself to allow the luggage bearers to leave her now few mortal possessions in the chambers before offering the pittance they deserved for their service in silence. At least she had her paints and dresses with her.
Alone at a common Inn outside the laws of Thay, either the Khazark and Zurn truly wanted her dead or this watery cesspit called Baldur's Gate was considered safer then it looked.
She grimaced and slid her favorite dagger out of its sheath to test the ease of the movement before returning it to its resting place.
Apparently her cunning and spell might would have to do before Azcerka decided to make presence known again.
She frowned, what could possibly delay a Thayan Knight anyway?
At least she had her paints and dresses with her, there was that solace.
Should she hire a chambermaid while waiting for the Khazark to recieve confirmation on her orders?
Alas whom to trust among these barbarians not to run off with what she truly cherished, or pester her quarters with lice?
