Tumble

For the love of God, can the Fighter, Barbarian, and Rangers please get tumble as a skill.

I mean it sucks that these three classes have absolute no dump skill. Fighter has no useful feats as it's own class. Craft Weapon/Armor/Alchemy/Trap, I never use those because either the forge system is bad or highly under use. (In addition there is an auction system that makes forging irrelevant) In addition, SINCE I CAN'T ENCHANT MY OWN ITEMS :lol: it's pointless to put points in it and I don't pay someone absurd amount of money to do that. I don't use taunt because it leaves you open. Rather than just give Fighters and Barbarians Demoralized Opponent, they get taunt, which is a guaranteed slap in the face. It is rather stupid a fighter/barbarian tries to be a comedian in the middle battle rather look like the tough guy he is. :lol:

Then there is Parry. I know it is useful, but you can't do anything with it in heavy armor so it's useless overall. While the Barbarian can get listen, most Barbarians have a 10 to 8 wisdom so it is useless. I mean when I look at the list of things Rangers, Barbarians, and Fighters do they can't do much due to the lack of dump skills. (Well the ranger has skills to dump in, but still it doesn't hurt to have tumble) You can get able learner and cross-class certain skill, but that goes nowhere real quick as you're just left with.

We can talk about cross-classing into another class, but that doesn't address the issues with is happening with these current classes. I have played a pure fighter and they can be loads of fun, but I don't play them in certain servers with limitations.

Can't reliably negate a dex skill while wearing FP.

TBH, I wish ALL classes got Demoralize, as IIRC that's how Taunt/Intimidate work in PnP. NWN and NWN2 split them into separate skills for...reasons?

Using Taunt provokes an attack of opportunity; however, at higher levels, you can taunt mobs while they are too far away to perform a melee attack (ie, 15-20 feet). Taunt penalties are not cumulative.
Additionally, Fighters receive all-but-Exotic armor/shield/weapon proficiency so they don't have to tumble, and with all the Armor Optimization Feats, they can get very decent AC. Rangers get high Reflex + Evasion, which is still pretty damn good if you go full Ranger, balancing against the Tumble AC bump.

Barbarians now have been buffed up to get Evasion plus +2 AC. Which ain't no thang to overlook.

BTW, since this really isn't a mechanical issue with Tumble, but more a personal request to satisfy personal build needs, this post could be better titled.
