Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hello!
I am experiencing some issues with the PC i use at the moment, since i changed PC i found some minor problems like lagging floating writings (eg. *tumble:succes*).

Since yesterday though i am experiencing a bigger one, every time my character or another one move i see them twitching. And that's really annoying, since it's like a persistent earthquake during lag, not the best to play

I use a Nvidia geforce gtx460m and a processor that is i7 so it shouldn't be a problem of devices, i tried setting in-game options at the minimum to improve performances but it doesn't work.

What settings do you use in-game and in general for this game? Maybe someone with the same video card?

If you are using Skywing's Client Extension, you can consider utilising the /mpredict command (just type that into your chat) after every login and hopefully that will stabilise your problem.

If you're not running NWN2 on MacOS, I'd sincerely recommend you get Skywings, yes.

Well i lauched the game via Skywings and it works good, fluent as it was on my previous pc.
I will try to set the graphic options again in order to mantein a high quality, i hope it will not run into new problems.

p.s.: Do i have to keep the other windows opened? i mean the windows the client creates (chat, map, that console command list). or can i close them without any issue?

This is a Nvidia driver issue unfortunately. I get it on my GTX 1070 as well. Skywings is the only way it works properly.

You can close the map and chat windows, but you have to leave the console window open (just minimise it).

To bring back the closed windows (eg. you want to copy-paste slabs of text/poetry into game) type the command /showui IG and they'll pop up again.
