Beneath blue skies, at the cusp of ocean's foam, a rickety table is erected on the shores of Ulgoth's Beard; threatening to give way under the weight of the items spread thereupon. At first glance, the display is one... average at best. Unremarkable. However, after closer inspection it might well be that there is a diamond or two in the so-called rough. On location stands freckled half-elf of firey hair, bottle in hand, and seemingly nary a care in the world.

A sign reads, barely legible:

Eventually she grunts something that could be a "hello" of sorts.

She points at the fullplate. "That armour there - how 'bout five sacks?"

Mara stared... and stared and stared. After several passing moments of blank expression, facade broke for a bark of raucous laughter. Wiping away the droplet that eventually formed at the corner of emerald eye, she shook her head.

"Good one, lass." she exhaled, a too-broad grin lighting up her features. "Yer goin' ta have teh do a lil' better than that. I ain't runnin' a charity 'ere. Twenty bags an' ye got yerself a deal, providin' there ain't someone what wants it more."

A wide grin etched through the woman's freckled countenance, emerald green eyes all but aflame with enthusiasm for whispered words. Her own response was one uttered in murmur, chased by the single bat of lashes in a wink. At conclusion, she takes down the sign. For now.

"Sold out, folks. Sorry. Still lookin' fer someone what knows where I can get them firey balls from, though..."

Overhearing Mara wondering, Juniper quickly sold her fish and moved over to the woman. "Heya! Did you say you need ... bombs?" The girl enthusiastically takes off her backpack, and shows her a set of nice shiny globes.

Drawing back her feet from where they rested on the table and slipping several bars of pure gold into one of several pouches with sleight of rolled wrist, the half elf leaned forward to peer into the girl's bag. Grin grew wider, tugging at the corner's of her lips with nod. "Jus' teh lass I'm lookin' fer..." she would state, offering a tattooed hand in shake. "Name's Mara. I'll be en touch."

The stall is opened once more, though the half-elf tender of previous sales appears to be nowhere in sight; replaced by a grizzly looking man with a crimson bandanna and a ragged beard.

"That helm: I'll give twenty-five bags of gold to spare your table its weight."

A tall Earth Genasi in full plate approaches the table and points at the longsword +4, his voice rumbling in a deep bass.

"Greetings to you. Thirty bags for the sword."

The tender grunts, eyeing the blonde up and down in appraising manner before reaching for the nearby ledger. It takes several minutes for him to find the note for which he searches, literacy evidently a weaker skill than most. Eventually, he grumbles in a low baritone.

"Make et thirty, an' ya got a good startin' bid," he barters, thick fingers scritch-scratching in wiry beard. "Twenty four hours."

He then writes down the bid for the helmet, along with that of the longsword, with a slight incline of his head toward the Earth Genasi. "Arrite."

A slender woman in a white dress who was strolling on the shore notices the items being sold. She greets the tender with a warm smile, introducing herself as Adelaide. "This wonderful helmet here, I would like to offer 35 000 gold for it please."

A soft-featured calish man, bronze like the evening desert sun, had been observing the bidding with a wry smile. He pipes up with a flourish as superfluous as his exotic garb. "Peace upon you, rafayar. I believe I shall spite these noble warriors by bidding fifty thousand on that helm of yours."
