Attempting to make a red wizard , how do you guys make them effective when they lose out on so many spells? A bit new with casters any advice ?

why make a red wizard if you lose you spell make something else there many wizard prc out there you dont have to be evil or good it is the reason people feer them Wizard

Make sure you retain Illusion and Abjuration.

With those, you'll be fine.

If you have more specific problems, I'll be happy to help you.

Red wizards can choose which their 2nd prohibited school will be. This gives more options to the character concept

Talk to the Red Wizard players.

And I play wizard quite well, regardless of the build.
