Swashbukler+duelist

Do your best with swashie and duelist, taking the new changes into account. 19 swash is desirable. I've had valefort build one a while ago, and while it looks good, I don't trust him. He always hides a weakness inside somewhere. Rebel scum trying to fight power builds.

I WANT MY DEATH STAR WITHOUT WEAKNESSES.
Also, I lost the link to his build.

Also, if someone can explain the current state of onehander, I'd be grateful.
Alternatively, drop the duelist.

Added monk for Evasion/Expose Weakness, some WIS AC and speed, could go Rogue for UMD if you don't want to be Lawful. AB is a bit low so added Feint, but if you want to wait until you get EW in the epics you might still be ok with just using wands for heroism... I didn't really review it for optimization, but it should work as a baseline. (Valefort has a lot more experience playing SB, but yeah, you should never trust him, he's French!) :)

Doesn't swash get evasion now?

You're right, they do... However, getting the extra bit of speed and AC from Monk is still pretty nice. Certainly worth it to consider something else instead... SD3 for HiPS, Ninja or Rogue, F4 obviously would give you weapon specialization and a couple more feats... Point is SB19-20/D7/X3-4 has a lot of options to get some extra AC, AB/Damage, or otherwise. I chose monk because I always want defense/escape route with my builds...

I AM OFFENDED.

Be a prickly 47th son of a minor noble house and shove Siamorphe's rightful rule of nobility down the throats of lowlife scums. Make their brutish limbs useless with weakening critical before disarming them for total humiliation.

Can drop improved crit for deadly defense if you want more damage, otherwise this is imo pretty good defense wise and even saves wise. AB would be at 42 with DEX item and +3 rapier from roaringshore which is fine considering expose cheeseness, damage is at 3d6 + 21 ~ 31.5 per hit, flourish on top.

two builds i currently run. both are capable, they are not deathstar w/o weaknesses. the phantom build utilizes WS/WF feats on a weapon. and the other utilizes dash and shield spells and heavy parry bonuses on gear.

Well, here is a build I probably wont play: the divine swashbuckler. 68 ac (67 after dispel). 19 swash, divine saves, warlock haste and invis (which you wouldn't pull out in certain groups). I changed it slightly because I didn't know swash gets evasion (broken!)

Its really built for ac. I picked moon elf just because I like elves and was thinking of playing surface. +cha race, especially drow, would be more powerful.

Are those changes even documented anywhere? I don't see evasion mentioned anywhere. Not on the wiki and not in the "custom changes" thread:

Custom changes has now been updated:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=49041&p=623221#p623221

I did also start a topic for just such purposes as this... If you find a change that should be documented in the Server Rules and Information sub-forums please either send me a PM or post to the linked topic below. I don't always see these discussions, but if anyone notices a change that needs to be made this is where to post since it is the only way to be sure I will see it:
