Quick question about "Melee Weapon Mastery (Slash)". If my only two options left are Melee Weapon Mastery, or Epic Weapon Specialization.... Melee Weapon Mastery wins out, correct?
Way I read it is Epic Weapon Specialization only gives an additional +2 damage on top of Greater Weapon Specialization. Meanwhile, Melee Weapon Mastery gives +2 attack and +2 damage.
Am I reading that correctly?

You are correct. Melee Mastery is the better feat and one that one should take first.

No, Melee Weapon Mastery is better as it gives +2 attack and +2 damage.

No, you get
+2 from Weapon Specialization
+2 from Greater Weapon Specialization
and another +2 from Epic Weapon Specialization for a total of +6 with all 3 feats.
The character gains +6 to all damage dealt using the selected weapon.
This bonus replaces that of Weapon Specialization and Greater Weapon Specialization.

It's really simple folks... Epic Weapon Specialization gives +2 damage while Melee Mastery gives +2 AB & Damage (as good as 4 Epic Great STR feats!) If you go 12 levels of Fighter and don't have melee weapon mastery you're doing something wrong, unless it is an archer, a monk/unarmed fighter build or for a specific RP reason which you fully understand and accept the reduction in power of the build.
