Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I hope this is the right board to post in, apologies if it is not.

I recently RCRed a character after making a mistake on level up. I did what was suggested on these boards and flubbed the names so it was a different character with similar but different names.

However I have not been given the extra language due because of the foreigner trait. I asked a dm and he deleted my dmfi and told me to relog in, but that didn't wotk. He told me to send a pam to the dm team and QC on these boards, but to be honest I don't know how to do that, so I'm hoping this post will suffice.

Could I have my extra language and could I change my name back to earlier. My new name is Andan Souleseek and the old one was Anden Soulseek.

On my end the foreigner background feat does give a language however you have to be careful as there are ... two "foreigner" background feats, one does give a bonus language but not the other. You might have picked the vanilla foreigner background feat which gives +1 Lore, -1 Diplomacy.

The background feat giving a bonus language has this description :

"Being a foreigner to Baldurs Gate you can choose a free bonus language from your race's list."

If you do have this feat but don't get the bonus language then there is an issue but there will be an update in the coming days that should solve it.

For the name a DM will do that for you

Shame I enjoyed having the extra language, but the extra point in lore is useful enough too as a bard. Thanks for your reply.
