So I can tell my arctic wolf to always be stealthy or stealthy until next encounter via the behavior menu, however it would so much easier if he just entered and exited stealth when I did. Is there a way to program this behavior?

Also, is there a way to get my archer to not equip the best arrows in his inventory when his quiver runs out? It's really frustrating when I'm trying to keep certain arrows for certain situations and I can pop off 6 of my best arrows in a round before I have time to switch up.

I think arrows equip in order how you have them listed in inventory? I could be wrong

Not sure about coding stealth, though if it is possible for companion to follow the leader with activating/de-activating stealth that would be AMAZING. With regard to your arrows, unless you actually need them on you at all times, you could put them in storage to ensure they are there to be pulled out only when you plan to use them. The other option is to keep your inventory screen open, when you fire your last arrow hit the "s" key which will cause your PC to step back/stop attacking, then you can equip your preferred quiver of arrows. Only other possibility is you could have your quivers in your quickbar and when one runs out click the next one in queue to equip it, but the timing might be a problem to ensure none of your favorite quivers arrows are used before the switch. I always just used 's' to step back when I wanted to use a new quiver/avoid using a certain type of arrows.

You can get him to go into stealth via the voice command to do it as well as sometimes hiding yourself.

Thanks for the help! I have been quickbar-ing the arrows buthe timing is a problem. I'll try the step back trick and also play with the inventory order. The voice command for stealth is a bit hit and miss. Doing it manually through the character sheet seems the best way but it is fiddly.

I believe you can quick bar voice commands, if that helps.

I'm fairly certain it pulls arrows based on order in inventory, but I could simply be remembering NWN1.I remotely recall splitting my elemental arrows into stacks of five, and filling pages with them alternating the order. That resulted in firing mixed arrows at the target. Once again... I could have done that in NWN1 rather than NWN2

it is order in inventory yes

alternatively you could invest in a bow of nocking with unlimited ammo for grinding and use a normal bow with special arrows for harder/situational things

This helps a lot! I've always been using auto sort
